The new site now provides a virtual stage where ‘ample samples’ and FREE downloads of my more recent compositions can be auditioned, and, perhaps tempt you to purchase the new CD. Speaking of the new CD, ‘Life is for the Living’ should be release 1Q 2002.

I often am asked, “How would you characterize your musical compositions?” My latest compositions are a post “grunge” – heavy metal –bebop (to steal the phrase from the Brecker Brothers [grin] guitar instrumentals. A veritable musical gumbo where Jimi Hendrix is fused with Charlie Christian, Tony MacAlpine is merged with Wes Montgomery, Jeff Beck is combined with George Benson and Joe Satriani is mixed with Joe Pass.

Another frequently asked question is, “who are your musical influences?” My musical influences are great and varied – including: Bird, Trane, Chick Corea, Weather Report, Bud Powell, Wes, George Benson, Jim Hall, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Steve Via, The Meters, Mozart, Ravel, Debussy, Stravinsky, Steely Dan, Little Feat and even the Beatles.
